In Oregon, several days of heavy rain caused landslides and flooding. A section of Wilson River Highway about 30 miles east of Tillamook was buried under mud and debris after a slide Thursday. Forecasters said the storm front had begun to move to the south and east Thursday night, meaning a gradual decrease in rainfall in the northern Oregon coastal area. Rain was reported early today in Portland, and in parts of Washington state, Idaho and Montana.
