This is hate, love, crime, passion, longing, hope, present and past. Kim and The Cinders debut album features special guests: In the fall of 2007 Kim and the Cinders packed up the Kondi Frost studio and set out for the deep dark swedish woods in two Volvo 245 to record this album. The locations were inside, outsid and around a small 1867 wooden house with no running water and no electricity. Power was provided by a gasoline generator - which is heard on many recordings by the way - and locations were chosen on the fly in order to capture the atmosphere of the songs, the surroundings, the weather, the insanity of it all. Thus the recordings and performances are permeated by a great ambience - a sense of time and place - that really puts you there. Under the beech in the pouring rain. Outside the house in the dead of night. Between the pines in the early morning. Inside the trailer driving through the woods. All the unique, special, crazy and even dangerous locations chosen by the band and producer The Great Nalna. The CD and LP booklet contains some images to go along with the recordings as does the documentary included on the cd and available for viewing and download on www.kimandthecinders.dk. Born in 1971 in Monastir, Tunisia, Kim Jeppesen is a wonder-boy of rock. A double bass master, an instrument he played in his first band The Godless Wicked Creeps (1990-1998), he was noticed by Jon Spencer who hauled him up on his Heavy Trash project. After the GWC split-up, he formed Powersolo, the only genuine “donkey-punk” band in the world, which gave him worldwide recognition. But Kim Jeppesen is a man of multiple projects (he side-works with his brother Bo –also a member of Powersolo – in The Railthin Brothers, with Frank Ziyanak in Gezus Crystler and of course guitar wizard Ulrik "Horatio" Lindez) and he wanted a band that would be more in touch with his psychedelic-folky side, and where ballads would be an acceptable song format. A tribute to folk, in its many shapes, Kim and the Cinders début album possesses the ring of truth only intimate songs can give. . On this recording, influenced by Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Richard and Mimi Fariña, Al Perry and Giant Sand to name a few, Kim finds his own path. Through the hottest sands and the darkest woods, over the highest mountains and the deepest fjords. Some songs will creep under your skin, and some will drill a hole in your skull, and suck your brains out. Others will leave you floating in a state of unconsciousness, and one song will try to kill you, if you interrupt it! When everything is gone... Cinders remain. Kim Jeppesen has worked and still works, with great artists such as:

I killed you in my memory
That's the way I can live
Kill it
이 모든 걸 끝낼 수 있어 there is over
그렇게 널 kill it
I killed you in my memory
That's the way I can live
I killed you in my memory
That's the way I can live
I killed you in my memory
That's the way I can live
Kill it
모든 게 새로워 there is over
그렇게 널 kill it
I killed you in my memory
That's the way I can live
I killed you in my memory
That's the way I can live
I killed you in my memory
That's the way I can live
Kill it
I killed you in my memory
That's the way I can live
I killed you in my memory
That's the way I can live
Kill it
The lyrics to Kim and the Cinders' song Kill Kill Kill are about letting go of a past relationship by pretending like it never existed. The singer is standing on the edge of a cliff, looking down at their memories of the person they used to be with. They imagine taking one more step and ending everything, implying that it would be better to forget about the relationship entirely. The chorus repeats the phrase "I killed you in my memory, that's the way I can live," emphasizing the idea that forgetting about the relationship is the only way to move on.
The second verse talks about how the singer can no longer see the person they used to be with, even if they wanted to. They scream and cry, but it doesn't change anything. The following lines again repeat the idea of forgetting about the relationship in order to move on. The bridge talks about how forgetting about the relationship wasn't as hard as the singer initially assumed it would be. They have no regrets and are no longer attached to the person.
Overall, the song has a melancholic tone and the lyrics convey the emotional struggle of letting go of a relationship. The theme of forgetting in order to move on is a common one in music, but Kim and the Cinders add a unique twist with the idea of taking an imaginary step to end everything.
I killed you in my memory
I erased every memory of you in my mind
That's the way I can live
That's how I can go on with my life without feeling weighed down by thoughts of you
Kill it
Erase all traces of the memories that still linger in my mind
I'm standing at the edge of a cliff called you
I'm at the brink of letting go of you, overlooking the endless abyss below
Just one more step and
Just a little bit more and
I can end everything, there is over
I can finally bid you farewell, knowing that it's all over
I'm falling all the way to the end of my memory
I'm letting go and reaching the very end of my memory, leaving you behind
I'll forget you beyond that
I will forget about you beyond the limits of my memory
Like I never knew you
Like you never existed in my life
Like someone I've never seen before
Like someone I've never met before
So I'll kill you like that
So I'll forget about you like that
You're someone I can never see again
You're someone who's no longer a part of my life
Like someone who doesn't exist in this world
Like someone who doesn't belong in this world anymore
So I'll kill you like that
So I'll forget about you like that
It feels like I just woke up from a long sleep, everything is new
It feels like a new beginning, like I'm starting anew
I'm not in pain, I'm not suffering
There's no more pain or suffering because of you
It's easier than I thought to erase you
It's easier than I expected to erase you from my memories
It's like you're a tattoo etched deep within me
It's like you're a permanent mark that's engraved in my memory
I don't have any regrets, but I'm not sure about you
I have no regrets about letting you go, but I'm not sure if you feel the same way
I don't have any lingering attachment, I don't think I'm the same as you
I don't have any lingering attachment to you and I don't think I'm affected by you the same way
