Are you at risk? Do you have a Compliance plan? Do you partner with your coding team to keep abreast of changes and help you improve documentation? Do you have internal audits performed?

Attn- Practices that bill RPM. 👇Folks – I want to get Wellmed and UHC into trouble for failing to follow CMS’ rules regarding coverage. I NEED YOUR HELP. If you have filed any RPM to Wellmed (the insurance company is UHC, by the way) and Wellmed denied the UHC claim because they do not cover RPM, please reach out to me at donself@donself.comAnd I will sign a HIPAA BAA with you. CMS requires you file an appeal first and when they deny the appeal, I want to get as many filing these denials as I can to CMS so that we can send them to CMS daily on grievances and when CMS does nothing (as I expect), I intend to take this to the DOJ to prosecute the CMS for not doing their job. But – for me to be successful – I need YOUR help. Please don’t think “someone else will do it” as that is what we had happen with the Senate Finance Committee thing. I want to work on this now, so please help me. There is so much non compliance on both sides of the aisle. I have always been on providers side but more and more I see them rather than doing what is right and rejecting unfair contracts, holding payers to federal laws and fighting against unfairness up to the congressional level they are just rolling over and coding for payment by mis-using modifiers, unbundling and reporting services inappropriately and giving a diagnosis as they know that’s the one that pays. Two wrongs never make a right- compliance matters. Every healthcare organization must have a compliance plan. Payers contracts should not contain language that is contrary to federal law. Corruption is destroying our US healthcare system.

I have always been disgusted to see where all my healthcare premiums go. And we are being told all Americans now have healthcare, that’s nice but I’m waiting 3 months for an Echocardiogram and 4 for a Cardiologist- good thing I have good healthcare- I’ll try not to die before they evaluate me.

UHC Non- MCR plans will stop covering G2211 effective 9/1/24. Are you contracted? I hope you are all listening to Don Self and his team to understand what your contract means and what it does not as it cannot supercede ERISA and other federal protections. https://lnkd.in/gtnQSUVy
